Is a Cobra w/o emblems a sleeper? Please, I wouldn't spend $30k on a Cobra to make people believe it's a $20K GT. Anyone who does, needs to get their head checked. Then the other side of the argument would be what? A GT is a sleeper. Can't GTs be modded to run with Cobras? Obviously, mod for mod, a Cobra would be quicker and faster but how about a modded GT vs. a stock Cobra and I'm just talking basic bolt-ons, not superchargers and nitrous.

I didnt pay that much attention to his car really..it was dark out and didnt see much...Ya, we can all go to muncie if u dont mind a z28 goin..my best friend has the 30th anniversary edition camero(white w/orange stripes 310hp). Him and I usually go to the track together. We will get together and get to the track this year. My only problem is that I have "NO" traction. Stock turbines. No traction bars or specials shocks or anything.. I just sit and spin all day..sux bad..but i went broke after these mods

Do you live in Indy. A buddy of mine got his performance tranny from Automotion. they are usually pretty reasonable. They are just a bit off of troy ave.

Sorry inferno, I just wanted to make sure that the 385 HP came from the Cobra R, not a standard Cobra.

I guess some people dont understand the sleeper idea. Imagine your in a ZO6 or a Cobra telling your friend how bad your car is when a stock looking GT pulls along side and gives you a nice view of its luggage rack before its long, long gone.
Maybe you just have to be there.
