![]() I'm wanting a new car, I'm going to get a 2005 Mustang when they are made avalible. But my little brother is trying to pressure me into a Mazda RX-8, and I was just wondering what your thoughts are on it?

![]() Under powered, no torque what-so-ever, not worth $30k.

![]() I've always like the rx's, the new one's nice. don't know if i would get it instead of the 05 stang....you'll kick yourself for making the wrong choice when it comes out. I'd compare spec's and go from there...bang for the buck.

![]() I'm not desperate for a new car, so I'm waiting to drive an 05 then make my choice. In other words, I'll most likely get a '05 mustang to go with my '65

![]() ...sounds like the smart thing to do. i think the rx8 is nice too...i guess waiting and getting to drive both would be the best thing to do.

![]() From what I've been seeing around the net there as been a big stink about the RX-8 not putting out it's rated power. I've seen some other problems with them as well.
I would just wait for the 05's -Josh, aka the tireburner

![]() I dont like the RX-8 at all I rode in one that a friend bought and I wasnt impressed at all with the acceleration. Not to mention its like driving a motorcycle. shifting at 9500 rpms just seems wierd.

![]() I like the RX-8 fine but I think I'd miss the torque.

![]() If you really want a non-domestic? I think the 350 Z is somewhat attractive. Not too sure on performance or price though.
