I was reading my current Motor Trend and read that the 05 stangs (Due in fall 04) will look alot like the older fastbacks..(Elanor)

That sould be right around the time I hace my current one paid off. Should be a sweet arse car!

For some reason that sounds really sweet, but for some reason I don't think I will like them at first. Not often I like the looks of a new car with a old style. But I could be wrong, I love the new Mach I's but the Rims don't do it for me. Either way I look forward to seeing some pics. :D

Someone has posted a artists rendering of what they are possibly gonna be??? I cant rememebr who but it was blue, low and mean.. I personally like the styling with the older car resemblences... some people dont but Maybe by then I'll be able to afford one..

When that picture first came out I didn't like it, and well nothings changed. I just can't get used to that front end. Everything else is sweet. That picture is just something that a magazine came up with, and is not what the next stang will look like..... thank God. ;)

No offense, but no thanks....I actually saw a COMPLETELY different picture in 5.0 magazine a couple months ago that looked alot better then that.

Im at work so i dont have the article but I remember a few interesting points. The new car will hit the market in 2004. The current bodystyle will have been around 4 years (1999-2003), just like the 4 years they made the previous style (1994-1998), which i personally liked the best. The article also suggested that they are recreating a 5L engine for this new platform, and either making the V6 around 225hp or getting rid of it altogether.
