Pro 5.0 and steeda tri-ax are the 2 you will hear most about. I have the pro 5.0 and i luv it. can't go wrong with either one.

my vote's for the Pro 5.0, but I also have heard good things about the Tri-ax.......so basically the same thing Mike said:D

I've got a Steeda Tri-Ax in my 2000 GT and love it. And, I've heard alot of good things about the pro 5.0 to. One thing I noticed is the Pro 5.0 doesnt seem anywhere as notchy as the Steeda.

THere both great shifters and either way you go, he WONT (Well Shouldnt) Miss third gear. :D

PRO 5.0 is the only way to go. I've had em all almost. Mine has been in my car about 1 month and is like brand new, I am selling it, if your interested in used. I have a pic if you want. $125 shipped vs. over $200 shipped.

Sweet...Cool I was gonna ask about the box and directions/instructions. So there isnt anything wrong with it???? Was it off a wrecked car? I dont wanna buy it and it be broke Hehe Ya know what I mean? Where do you live? (For Shipment) If i did buy it from ya It will be at least 4/5 days from now.

1BAD89 11-29-2001 08:01 PM

No it's not out of a wrecked car. And there is nothing wrong with it. It's like brand new. I live in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

OnMy3rdStang 11-29-2001 08:18 PM

OK. Do you know what the shipping cost would be? I live in St.Charles Missouri.

1BAD89 11-29-2001 09:47 PM

$125 shipped. I'll pay for whatever shipping is.

OnMy3rdStang 11-29-2001 11:48 PM

Aight. It'll be a few days before I'll know if I can get it. But I'll let ya know

Missing third isn't the problem I had with my Pro 5.0, it was missing fourth on a Nitrous pass. The shifter was too short, becaus eI'm 6'2" and was wearing my helmit. What I did after was take one of our stock shifters, and custom bent it back and toward me and havent missed fourth yet. Just a suggestion if your boyfriend is tall.

1BAD89 11-30-2001 07:21 PM

I'm not saying this just because I'm selling the shifter. But I don't see how anyone can miss 4th? Just pull it straight down big boy. :p Anyway I'm 6'1 and have no problems. Missing 4th? WTF.
