![]() I am wondering if anyone has ever built a Factory Five Racing Shelby Cobra kit car? Or any other manufacturer for that matter. My crew wants tio do one, but I want to get as much info first as I can. We are going to take a drive up to Mass. sometime to tour the factory and check it out first hand. Any input from you guys on these cars? We will be using either a turbo or super charged 351 W, fuel injected. What is the horsepower limit of these kit cars?

![]() Don't have any info on that, but it sounds like an orgasmic project. Can't imagine a more fun endevor. Power adder 351W in a kit Cobra, what a blast.

![]() Built one B&B
Getting close to ordering a FFR, Not sure, but I think I'll order the Daytona Cobra. The B&B weighs 2,400 with a 351w Go with the 5.0 donor kit, TRUST me, it will save you alot of head pains. The frame has gotten alot better in the FFR cars. Also its closer to the original design, using thick round tube frame for better torsional strenght. If this don't make ya sick for one,,nuttin will!! Think a GTS Viper is fast? view (Mistriss vs Viper) FFR website Videos YOU MUST SEE!!!!

![]() Anything but a 4.6 will fit in a B&B kit, narrow frame. I think they will make one fit for the right money.
We used a 429 in the B&B. It just weighed a little too much in the front. If we had used aluminum it would have been better. I think the 302 wieght is 55% in the back. The "5.0 Donor kit" just means everything is in the kit except chassis parts, motor etc.( 74-78 chassis parts) Insted of buying Stages I, II, III As with the B&B kit. Everything is bolt on. I like the FFR frame and late model suspention. I will most likely go with a Daytona or a Spec Racer. Will probibly be road racing it in the future. This company goes the extra mile and would use them again. B&B website
