As far as the fan goes, two of the relays in the CCRM are used to control it. One works for low speed, and the other for high. Usually, when the fan won't work at all, the low speed relay is at fault. The way to verify this is to unplug the wire going to the temp sensor, with the engine running. If this causes the fan to turn on high, (may take up to 30 seconds), then the low speed relay is bad. I know this doesn't help much, thanks to the CCRM, but at least you'll know it is a fault inside the CCRM. If unplugging the sensor turns the fan on low, check the sensor. If this doen't turn the fan on, I would check the Black/Orange wire going to the CCRM for battery voltage. This is the always hot power feed to the CCRM. If it does have voltage, but the test above didn't turn the fan on, replace the CCRM. If it doesn't have voltage, trace it back and find out why. It goes to a fusible link that may be blown.
Good luck!
Take care,
~Chris
