2,000-plus horsepower!

I got my issue of 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords 2/02 the other day and I was in awe of the "Pande Swears" article on page 100. Who is this Pande Talevski? Who is Moe Atat? Can Billy Glidden or Don Walsh Jr. or Steve Grebeck take this guy? Talevski is claiming his motor made over 2000 hp on an engine dyno and he broke it. "...his new Pro 5.0 car was going to run 6.50s at 220 mph...". How fast can a Mustang run? Anyone see this "Mustang" run under 7 second quartermiles? Anyone know any more about this car?

lol It isn't porn, I sent the URL to another mustang budy but he didn't believe me tell I told him he could beat me if it was. We were at school or I'm sure he would of minded. :P But they have a whole bunch of mustang times and articles on the fastest mustangs. Hope that helps, I havn't had much time to check out the site so I am not sure the fastest time though.

I read that same article and every time I hear that the Mustangs are carving deeper into the sixes, a sense of pride kicks in. I would love to see that car take a few runs. It's pretty unreal how the 200mph and the 6 second barrier were broken not to long ago, and a few months later people are already planning to hit in the mid sixes. I love it!

John Force, now thats a whole new ballpark. 4 sec. quarter mile times at over 300mph, unreal. I actually got to see him race once with my father. I have pictures somewhere of the car and the board with his time, time to do some searching.

I got to see him this past summer at Mile High Nationals in Denver, CO. He didn't have a very good weekend at all. Couldn't hook....smoked the hides in all of his qualifying rounds but one and the next day in the first round he smoked em off and lost.

At Bandimere in Denver you can actually go through the pits. I'm not sure if you can do this at other drag strips, but I bet you can. We got to go right up to his pit and he was there talking to poeple while his crew worked on his car. I got his autograph and shook his hand.

He wasn't in a very good mood though. Did not seem near as happy as he usually looks on TV...he was having a bad day....like I said....
