WOW!!!!! What a SWEEEEEEEEEET ride! I love the hood....

And finally, something to kick some Z28/SS/Firebird butt with! I can already hear all their whining about the supercharger though. But sometimes we whine about their additional 70 cubic inches they have on us so I suppose it will all cancel out...

Whats that thing on top of the motor???....is that.....yes....it could be...... YES . Its about time. I love the car but I see a problem. I dont want Ford to set themselves up to get burned again. If you look at the 5th page. In the column to the right there is an (EST) = estimated hp figure of 390@6000. I think that would be great but has anyone confirmed this. I hope there is just something I have missed but it will cause a bad situatiun if this car doesnt make that estimated 390.

Oh Ohhh Oh. I just seen something else interesting. Look at the bottom right corner of the last page. They are complaining that the car is "Too Quiet?" Thats great. I love these guys.

I think that the 390 hp figure is HEAVILY underrated. I would expect actual flywheel hp numbers to be in the 410-420 hp. Regardless, it's still a SWEEEET car.

Hmm, If I put $10,000 down on a 2003 Cobra, I wonder what my payments would be??

If the Buy price is $35,000 and you put down $10,000 at 8.5 % interest for 60 months the payments will be $512.91 a month. Anything else you want to know. I have a program that figues this all for me. I'm no genius like that.

Thumbs up Oh yeah!

Love it!

O.K., it's out of my price range but I can dream, can't I?

About time Mustangs regained the performance status they have been noticably lacking for years while cheesy GM cars got all the 'street' bragging rights and Ford fans had to resort to bolt-on's to be competitive on the street.

That Cobra is a well-balanced, high performance vehicle worthy of the Mustang Cobra nameplate. I'm impressed.

Now, if I could just figure a way to talk the wife into having us take out a second mortgage.....Hmmmmm.

Second mortgage? Heck, just refinance your current home (assuming a decent increase in FMV) with enough "cushion money" to cover the cost of the Cobra. As long as your home secures the note, then you take the deduction on your income taxes. Plus, right now, you can obtain some pretty good rates on a 15 or 30 year fixed mortgage.

I really, really like this car...

I thought they mentioned that the aluminum blcoks wouldn't hold up too well with the new power level. Oh man, do I want one.

The coolest thing is that the wife loves this car too. Just maybe, if the bastard dealers don't add 10 grand to price, there could be one in my driveway

Mustang is now officially the king of the pony cars.

Its horsepower is actually totally under rated (for once). Its rated at 390 at the flywheel by Ford. Follow the link at the bottom of this reply to find out that the rear wheel dyno results put out a staggering 381hp. Which would put this Snake around 415 to 425 at the flywheel depending on how much is lost in its drivetrain. Also note that the SVT engineer stated "The thing is breathing through a straw" and the car is almost luxury car quiet. Put a k&n filter and a hi flow catback on this beast and look out!
