2003 Mustang?

Hey all I don't know what everyone else thinks but I am not a big fan of the current body style of our beloved ponies. Even though it is largely just new exterior peices on top of the previous (sn-95) body, I still don't care too much for it. I've heard it gets scrapped completely in 2003 when a new design comes out. Has anyone been able to catch any photos yet? I've seen lots of engine specs (damn nice v8) but no pictures yet. I know its a bit early, but it still keeps me wondering constantly....

I love the current body-style. I wouldn't have them change a thing.

I believe the body change isn't until 2004. 2004 will bring changes for everything (both body and engine). 2004 is the year to save for if your'e gonna try.

Looks wise, it hard to choose between the 64-66, 69's and 99+ Stangs. I think those are the best lookin years.

I think the 99+ body style is an aggressive looking car. I defintely like it a hell of a lot more than anything the competitors have, well ......I must admit the New Trans Ams are sweet looking cars too.

I hope they dont muck up the body style in 2004, but hey, this is FORD were talking about here. http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif

Maybe I'm just too much a fan of the first and second generation mustangs. When I first saw pictures of the 99 stang I thought someone snuck over from toyota to help with the design. It just doesn't look right to me. I've heard some people say 03 will be the next change, some people say 04.

new one's look great, but i love it when manufacturers come out with new stuff. it mnight not be an improvement, but at least they try. and it givesd people something to b!tch about. and besides, this attitude of leaving things the way they are is the reason Harley Davidson has been building the same sh!t since the 40's

I like the 99+ style mustangs. It is more aggressive, more muscle to the structure. I used to not like the new, but they grew on me. Now I love them.

I just wonder if they change it for the better or the worse.

You think they could ever turn out like the concept Mach III?

I have a feeling they might go more like Import cars, not rice but Euro.
The reason being the 99+.
