Real 2004 Mustang Pictures.
I found some pictures on the web of what seems to be the 2004 Mustang. The address is http://thehollywoodextra.com/Ford/ford.html
It's not one of those drawings either, it's the actual car! I'm not 100% sure that it's what Ford is going to make, but take a look. |

ummmmm
i don't really care for that to much. It flows to much and is to smooth. It needs some more jagged edges.

Only one way to tell. I saved them, and am checking them in 6.0 to see if they have been brushed or layered.

It was pretty obvious from a glance that they were photo shopped. Look at the wheels. The one on the sunside are dark from shadows (Probably clipped), and the ones on the shaddy side are reflecting light coming from nowhere.
If by some chance, that is how the new stangs will look, I'm sure glad I got a 99+ GT, and didnt save up for the new redesiging.

Every once in a while Ford'll do something stupid, but nevr anythng as ugly as a design like that-- well, so far at least.
The term "gag a maggot" comes to mind...

car and driver mag had photos a few months ago. it was one of their "spy shots" that showed the alleged 2004 mustang. it was identical to that picture, but had black plasctic covering the rear and front, and the sides up to the windows. i guess they were trying to hide what it was. the other thing too is that ford announced that the redesign would not take place in 2004, it would wait at least until 05 if not longer due to recent economic concerns.

Its shopped. Look at the side markers on the silver car in the top picture. Then look at them on the silver car ins the lower picture. I'm callin shop on this one. Unless Ford will offer two different style front fenders, lights, and facia packages.

SAY IT AIN'T SO!
Looks like a bad breeding experiment between a cougar and an acura!? I hope the 04 mustang doesn't look anything like that! If it is going to look like that the demand for 03 mustangs is going to be huge.
What next a DOHC 4 cyl with vtech and front drive.

Looks alittle photopshoped to me too. Let's just hope that, because I am not a big fan of that design at all. I think Ford can do alot better, I like the design they got going for them now.

I'm with you guys. I hope that isn't what the next Mustangs look like. I never said that they were without question what we are going to be seeing on the road. I just found em on the web, and thought everone would like to take a look. It does look alot like what Motor Trend said the 2004 stang would look like. I've also heard that production wouldn't start until February in 2003. So your guess is as good as mine.

I would have the same problem with that as a new Mustang as I do with the '97 and newer F-150's: too feminine (no offense).
Take care, -Chris

Even if those pics are not shopped I dont think that page is a real reliable source for car info. If you want a good laugh though go back to his home page and look at his picture. That guy seems a little strange to me.
