Default Dan McClain and mustang works in the new 5.0 mustang mag

Turn to page 206 in the new July issue of 5.0 mustangs and FF and read the first paragraph in the article on Chip Havemann. Your a popular man Dan. There may be some more Mustang enthusiasts poppin up in here. Good to see the website listed in this mag.

-67 Dodge Polara (383 punched 30, Heavy head work, Mopar Performance single plane intake, Holley 750, electric fuel pump, Holley regulator, .484 duration cam, FRIED bottom end!) DOH!!! Fried the #1 rod bearing. Stroker kit coming!
-01 Kawasaki Ninja 250 (Clear lenses, shaved fender, rear signals in the rear housing, baffles removed, Deals Gap dragon on the tail.)

Hey - thanks everybody. I just read the article today myself. It's great to see Chip Havemann get some good exposure like that. He was the Street Renegade champion the first year out and a nice guy to boot.

It's awesome too see what has happened with S/R over the last few years. It's been a significant presence in our sport, and I'm happy I was able to have an impact - both with the creation of S/R and through MustangWorks.com...

I'll definitely have to extend a big thanks to 5.0 Mustang Magazine and Jamie Meyer for the mention...

Is Chris thawed out yet?

Albeit a short one, I hope you enjoyed the ride in the Mustang... I think those 15 foot tread marks will be there for a while. I'll be laughing everytime I drive through there to work now.
