Assuming his car is bone stock. I would say that you have him off the line because it can be hard to properly launch a turbo car. Don't go him on the highway he'll spank the both of you. IMO

In saying that race him light to light. Should be close

I raced a modded one at the track, although im mostly stock ,i still took him all the way dowwn the track, he then flew by at the 1000ft mark, and trapped at 109mph!! thats pretty fast, and he ran 13.4, i talked to him and he said he had bigger injectors and an intake.

The 300z's arent that fast even with the TT. They are about as fast as a new GT when they are stock. The non turbo versions are just plain slow.

Expect a bone stock 300ZX TT to run a 14.0. They are not hard to launch like many other turbo cars. They are pretty heavy, and torque is high, the powerband is lower in the r's than many turbo cars.

With mods they can be made much faster. Kinda like a Supra, but the Toyota already has nearly a full second lead on the Z car.

The 300ZXTT weighs about 3600lbs or so. Even on the highway, you will take one. I've got minor mods to my car and I pulled away....slowly, but I did. The 5.0 with minor mods should be able to pull. As long as you can get the motor to breathe up high, you'll be alright. I'm pretty sure that the 3ZTT only has about 250-260lbs of torque.

If its an N/A 300ZX youll smoke the hell outta him, your cars probabily dead even with mine, and i layed the smack down on one of these not to long ago, pulled an instant 3 cars on him from a light and shut down, let him do a ricer fly by and get ahead of me by about a car at 40mph i reeled him in and pulled by. my car runs low 14s to. You shouldnt have a problem, just make sure its not the Twin Turbo or you will at the most part have your hands more then full.
