Question 410gears to low

I was wondering if the 410's would be to low for my 95Cobra? I plan on supercharging it over the winter? It already has 355s in it.Your suggestions would be very helpful.THANKS Tommy

4.10 with an OD, it should be about like a 2.90 without the OD. Question is do you really need those low ratios in the other 4 gears with that torquey 5.0. It is possible to have too low gears if you have lots of torque.

i have heard that 3.55's are a good gear for blown cars due to the torque they make.

Well, think about it this way:

Don't just throw on the lowest gears you can get. Lower doesn't necessarily equal faster.

The best thing for you to do:

1) Go get the blower first. 3.55s is good enough for now.

2) With blower already installed, get the car dynoed and match your gears according to where your power band is and and which rpm range you want it to stay in (according to where you're making the most horsepower) for most effective power.
