Stock 4 lug axles out of an 8.8?? Is that what your looking for?? If so I got a set I can have out of the rear end in a few days?? Why are you going back to 4 lug, and I assume by you saying that you have the 4 lug coming you mean wheels?? Why not order 5 lug cobra wheels??

I was unaware of the rear being wider??? Never heard that before so I dont know what to tell you. If you can use my axles let me know and I'll get em sent to you. They are out of a 90 model 8.8 from a stang. Hope this helps

well i got my info from http://mjbobbitt.home.attbi.com/mustang/4lug.html and they also say i can use the axle from a 87-88 turbo coupe. But i will ask some friends that work at the ford dealer and will get back to you pony power about your 8.8

Pull that sucker apart and swap with me!

Do you have any idea if MARK VII rotors were used or if they used SN95 spindles and rotors?

What wheels are on it now?

I thought Cobras came stock with 5 lugs. Did you order the 4-lug version of the Cobra wheels?

to help some of you out.

the 93 Cobra came with 4lug 4 wheel disc brakes 17x7.5 rims. rear calipers is the same off a rear of a 90 Taurus with disc brakes. the brackets are not the same for the calipers in the rear of the 93 Cobra compared to the 84-86 SVO's, but will work if you change to that setup(so i was told.MEASURE FIRST!). the turbo coupes and the SVO's are the same rear brakes. the SVO's are the same as the T-Bird Turbo coupe, but with 4 lug axles and shorter axles. The axles you need for a 93 Cobra are the non-ABS Turbo Coupe rear. since that is an 8.8 and the rear axles are longer than stock 5.0 4 lugs, you may be able to use those. it think the may be a little longer than the stock 93 Cobra's though. 86-93 8.8 axles are smaller than the 93 Cobra by 3/4" each axle

the 93 Cobra R's came with the SN95 Cobra brake setup or the "M2300k" kit for the fox bodies. the 93 Cobra and Cobra "r" have the same housings as the 86-93 V8's.
