This guy I was talking to the other day said he had a blown 347 with 710hp. I asked him what he ran all motor and he said it has 650hp just the motor. I said bull-**** . He is going to send me he has everything done to his car in awhile. I just wanted to see what you guys thought...ok..i got his mods and I am listing them below. I cant see now 650hp out of this..REMEMBER DO NOT COUNT THE BLOWER AS PART OF THE HP. HE SAID 710 W/BLOWER, 650 WITHOUT BLOWER!

Hes out of his head. Another person reading magazines and wishing for what they had. You don't gain 60hp only with a blower. He would have to have insane compression to run that much HP N/A and it would be really hard to run a blower. Not to mention he doesn't have the parts to support the RPM needed for that type of HP. Gt40 intake? HAHAHA

MM&FF was barely breaking 500 hp with a barely streetable NA 396. I seriously doubt that 600+ hp is possible with a n/a 347

BTW if I cannot break 500 FW HP with a 393, and remain COMPLETELY streetable, then I will stay with a 302 stroker setup. Cos I feel that is a waste of money and time, to stroke a 351 and not make A MINIMUN of 430RWHP. Hell i will take 5 years to build the damn thing just to get the right parts and get at lest 450RWHP with a 393 cid |

He said this hp was at the wheels. I was like do you have dyno slips..he said ya but said he doesnt have a scanner to send them to me. Then he says he also has a 93 cobra w/347ci with blower..He said one of his cars runs 9's and one runs 10's. He said one will be in mm&ff next month..So i will

Hehehe, anybody else catch the fact he's claiming 710hp with a T-5?

Honestly, if it existed, the combo would probably be making a lot closer to 350hp N/A. The GT-40 intake is a joke in the application, and Edelbrock 2.02 heads are garbage for flow (last I checked the 1.90s flowed better!!!) |
