I think those aluminum wheels would look pretty good on the fairmont. You got a great deal on that car! I've heard though because of the lower fender flair on the rear 225 width tires may not fit with those wheels. There is a page called Fairmont/Zephyr enthusiasts that used to have a great message board, but the board closed. You can look through the "hot rods" section and get ideas from some of the members cars (some of the cars are pretty sweet). I think the site address is:

I think you may be a little steep with 4.10's on that 3 speed C4 non overdrive trans even on a high revving engine. Larger tires would help that though
Paxton makes a supercharger for '83 to '85 mustangs (i believe the carbureted ones), so I believe it would be easy to convert your fairmont over to work with that for pretty cheap. You may not even need to get a serpentine belt drive system....but i don't know that much about the supercharger. Good luck and have fun!
