Talking The '79 Stang gets a younger sibling (I bought the 92 GT)

Well, I bought it. After a lot of hard thinking and praying, it's out there sitting in my front yard.

Thanks to all who gave advice in my other thread (I might by a 92GT...). It was truly and sincerely appreciated. The interior is pretty much spotless. Factory radio sounds wonderful.

Here are two pics.

Now all I need is a double-stacked 3 ft rear spoiler, some Nopi, Greddy, Borla, and NOS stickers, more camber, some tire flies, some neons, and some of those windshield washer thingys and the car will be PERFECT!!!

I KNOW, you know I'm just kidding....

You forgot about the air bag suspension so you can "slam" it

In all seriousness, the car looks like it's in great shape. Congrats!

HA!!

Deuce, how'd you notice the lake?? Yeah, we got lakeside property for a day. It has been rainy and cloudy for the last week or so and we got a lot of rain. I got home yesterday and it was worse than it has ever been. We're seriously gonna have to do something about the water that accumulates in the front yard when it rains. This time though, it was the worst it's ever been.

The car could use some new tires and a brake job.

That's great bro! I'm sure you'll enjoy it for years. I gotta get me a hard top one day.

Stock stereo sounds good? You have the system with the EQ?

Cool

Yeah, man, the stock sound system sounds much better than I thought it would. It is a huge improvement over the struggling 3-speaker system in my '91 LX . No, it doesn't have the EQ, just your usual bass and treble, balance and fade, but still very nice.
