![]() I'm abut to buy a 2000 mustang. It has 36,000 miles on it and was owned by an elderly man so it hasn't been driven much and is in excellent shape. Anyway, I was told that I might have to pay up the wazoo for emissions if it doesn't pass in CA. Does anyone know if I have anything to worry about? I'm paying 8,000 tomorrow to finalize the deal, but I want to make sure I don't have to pay the extra cash when I go back to CA in August. I'll technically be in the military till Oct; I had heard that military don't have to worry about it; I'm in the Army right now. ANyway, any info or pointing in the right direction for info would be much appreciated. Thank you.
