351w - 305hp. There were two that I was looking at last year, one a 93, the other a 95. The 93 was white, he had a blower on it,and a bunch of bolt ons. 12,000 bucks. The 95 was stock, 80000 miles, black. 10,000.

Layan, theres usually a couple of them in the auto trader. Our trader covers alot of territory though, it goes from here up to ft.lauderdale. Check out traderonline.com.

I have a white '94 Lightning.

It has a 351 w/GT-40 iron heads, GT-40 intake, headers, aluminum driveshaft, to name a few. It's rated at 245 hp and 345 tq. I question these numbers, mainly because it feels stronger than any other pick-up I've driven (new L's) not included.

They are reliable, a hoot to drive, great looks, the best damn seats ever put in a truck and becoming a bit rare.

NotchJohnson: 305 hp stock? I'm curious where that came from. Perhaps they're underated?

Red, stock so far, except for Steeda Tri-ax, Bassani X pipe, Recaro seats, and tint.

White, stock except 50 series Flowmasters

'99 GT (wife's):
Chrome yellow, stock with some pretty slick "flame" pinstripes!

I have a red 93, it's awesome. It has 166k miles, is all stock, and has run 9.62 in he 1/8 after pulling the racecar to the track. And, we just looked at another red 93 that has 95k miles on it, they are asking $8300 for it. If they still have it after christmas, we are going to try and buy it if our finances will permit it.

I agree about the seats. They are fabulous.

First Gen Lightnings are underated......94/95 Cobra's have the same parts except they are 302's. They are in the 260hp range so I'm guessing Lightnings are in the 290 or so range.

Im not sure where I heard that. SOmeone told me they had one and when they put a blower on it it went from 305 to 390-something hp. So i assume more mods were used to get the 305 then.
