Okay I have a question that has been bugging me for awhile. Can you drop a rear wheel drive engine into a front wheel drive car...(and have it work. as front wheel drive)i.e. my moms Gran Prix 3.8. drop a 5.7 in it..Or a focus with mustang or lightning engine. so on and so forth...Please help me....

Oh and I found the fastest rice rockets
Mazda maita with a mustang 302
or...
351
or even the...
429

Its called the monster maita.

thanks.

If you got enough money, almost anything is possible when it comes to modding cars.

But practically speaking, No. Won't work.

And if it were possible, it DEFINATELY would not be worth the money.

...and why mod a front wheel drive car anyway, the physics for a good launch are all wrong...

It's both possible and do-able, but as mentioned, money is the key factor. There are several companies out there that make kits for such swaps, the most common I know of being a kit to swap a small block Chevy into a Fiero (The Fiero is rear wheel drive, but the engine is still mounted sideways and requires a transaxle). Search the internet.

Take care,
-Chris

You could probably convert the whole car to RWD easier, heheeh. Just take out the BFH and give yourself a driveshaft tunnel, ehheehe.
