Default Project: Death Machine on Display Thursday (4/18) at Ford HQ

That's right. Tomorrow, Thursday the 18th, my car (Project: Death Machine) will be on display at the Ford World Headquarters open house. This yearly open house is for large car clubs to set-up booths in the Ford World Headquarters lobby and give out club information... There are also Ford sponsored cars, and a few private car owners that will have their cars displayed too.

My car will be on display either just outside, or inside the lobby, from 3 PM until 7 PM. Anyone in the Dearborn (Detroit) area is welcome to come on out and meet us... Both Darius Rudis, the Moderator of the Corner Carver's forum, and myself will be there. Darius will have his vehicle displayed, as well.

Sounds like a pretty fun event. That would be great to come see your's and drudis' Stangs....but I'm kind of in the same boat as Josh...if I left THIS MINUTE I probably wouldn't get there...haha...

Good luck with the event. I'm sure it'll be fun and your car (along with drudis') will be enjoyed by many. Wish I could come!

JUST got in to work at my desk. Had a LOT of trouble loading the car this morning and getting it here...
But now its in the executive parking structure, waiting to be rolled in thru the service entrance on lunchhour.

This is a shot from last year:

Ford's world headquarters are in Dearborn, Michigan - which is just west of Detroit. Very easy access off the freeway - I've had to go there several times for conventions, CE courses, etc.

Thumbs up

That is very cool to have your cars displayed at FoMoCo World H.Q. If I was home for the summer already, I would have definitely went there to check it out.

Can't wait to see pics

Talking A great night at Ford HQ

Darius and I both had a great time at Ford HQ tonight. We had our Mustangs on display from 2 PM to 7 PM, and met a lot of great people. Here's a snapshot of each of our cars, but we've got a lot more of all the cars that were there too I'll be putting up later.
