Anyone had their car in a mag?
 

Just curious since I've seen so many AWESOME cars here on this site. I'm sure lots have you have got in magazines. I got mine in 5.0 Mustang back in April 1998. It wasnt featured or anything cool like that.. but I sent in a pic of it and sure enough a couple months later I opened up the mag and there was my car! Topless in Texas had a feature done on her car in MM/FF a while back.

i dont know what it is about your car, but it is one of a kind, i love the look of it, it's just a different than anyone's car look, nice ride. :) :D :D :D :D

Nicole Douglas (girlscan2)had a big feature on her and her car in MM&FF a while back. I think they screwed up a bunch of info on it, but there were still some great pictures of it

I havent had my car pictured, but I did write in a reply to some arsehole that was doggin on teenagers driving mustangs, basically saying they are morons, so I wrote in and gave 5.0mustang mag a piece of my mind for printing that. Sure enough, they printed what I wrote in a few months later, along with a few other guys that wrote in about the guy.

Thanks. It used to be blue. The paint was all oxodized when I bought it. About the only thing wrong with it at the time. I Love black cars :cool:

I was either 17 or 18 when I wrote in to them. Damn, I guess that was a while ago, cause I'm 21 now:)

I had a small write up in MM&FF a few years ago...a little bigger one in Mustang Illustrated a couple of years ago, when I was Featured On "My Classic Car" with Dennis Gage, they showed some pics of the shoot, and last November got a 4 page Spread in the Ladies Issue of Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords... :)
RoadRunner just got a 4 page spread as well in 5.0 a couple of months ago! VERY COOL!

Quite a few members have had their cars featured or displayed in the readers rides sections of MM&FF and 5.0 magazines. I've never tried...maybe I will sometime.

If you ever go over to the Corral be sure to check out Dave's (Forced 347) car. It's been a feature car in a LOT of magazines and has been calendar material too. It's a very nice ride, and the thing is he drives it all the time :)

My brothers car is in 5.0 Mag in July 2002 on page 164. The funny thing is that it does not look like that now(Has Bogarts and a new turbo combo) Check it out!

My husband's best friend has his silver 89 coupe featured in this month's 5.0 Mustang mag.

Awesome! I dropped my subscription to 5.0 awhile back so I'd have to check the stores to see it.. unless any of you have them scanned or online that you could post them :)

Is there a way that you can scan my article out of the MM&FF? I'm STILL having PC problems...Now my Scanner is not working and my pc is not finding the driver to my damn camera software!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrr......I"ve never been able to post the article like you did for yours...and I would like to.....since my pc crashed a few weeks ago, im operating at a minimal.....BTW....give me a call on my cell when you can! ok? Hope all is doing well for you! :)

I dont Know if this Counts But My 1991 Foxy Body Was featured In a Local paper. Called Kentucky Horses With her One Piece Nose off In track form I cant find The Darn thing. But it was Only a Photo in a Newspaper and a Long right up On woman Behind the wheel at the Track in Louisville.

I actually had Glenn scan it for me because he has a really good scanner at work. I don't have one hooked up anymore. Let me see if I can get someone to scan it for you. I will give you a buzz when I get a chance.

I've been lucky enough to have been in quite a few but i attended all the races and traveled the circuit, which helps a lot.

My new book is coming out in 5.0 Mustangs & Super Fords in July issue and MM&FF August issue and Race Pages August issue. Im very fortunate that they are willing to introduce my book to all their readers. Thanks to them all!!!!!
