for anyone wondering...
it turns out the new systems dont come out like normal....all you need to do it pry out the console around the gearshifter, then the console around the A/C,headunit, etc controls...its held in by metal clips...they just pop out...then there are two bolts that hold in the headunit....simple as that....
the install went smoothly and the XM radio is awesome
...i didnt even mount the antenna..its in my trunk..hehe
