you guys rule heh, i'll just keep it simple and ask you guys. ok, this is what i know about the bike. it's a '94 Suzuki (stupid me i forgot the name), but i know it's a 600. it's got 9K miles on it. he said he was going to put it in Autotrader next week for $2700. but since i'm a friend he said he'll sell it to me for 2 grand. this includes the helmet.

as far as blemishes, he said he's never dropped it, but it's only visible marks are underneath and can only be seen if you get down and look underneath. it also needs new spark plugs and a mount for the right turn signal but everything works in that area. he also said it needs a tuneup and it's got a brand new battery. so, basically all i would have to do is get my bike liscence, get a tuneup, some sparkplugs (also needed) and a turn signal mount. and i know a guy who can get me a tuneup from him for cheap and he can be trusted to do it right. my friend also said he put a new exhuast pipe on it as well so it sounds great. all this for $2K and a helmet. i was originally going to start looking at Kawasaki's and Honda's but this just fell right into my lap, like it's meant to be. and, i've NEVER ridden a sportbike before but i've ridden some fast 4-wheelers with the same clutch-shifting system as on the bike so it's just a matter of taking it easy and getting used to the bike. it will be strickly enjoyed by cruising town and
having fun. no racing, no abusing, just riding. and i saw the bike with my own eyes in his garage as of noon today, so i can verify everything he told me. it's all legit. best situation i can ask for at the moment.

what do you guys think?
