whats going on with your server? and what with the SPAM on the homepage? i have to go to Girls Can Too to get to BOL! i wonder if it is just me?:confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

it's not just you.... I haven't seen Dan on in a long time, I wonder where he is???

I haven't had any trouble getting in here recently, but i do get that dreaded white error page about once or twice an hour.

I was starting to think my computer was a POS....Glad its not just me.

I've been getting that about every other time I click on ANYTHING in this site for last 2-3 weeks. It's getting really old. Every other site I visit is fine. Is it a MW server issue? You would think that we would get better performance for the membership fees we pay! GEEESH! :D

Seriously, what is the deal with all the "server unavailable" or "connection reset by peer" errors we keep getting?

We had the same problem. And had to go in from Girls Can. But its pretty much has straightened out. Like Chris said every once in a while that white page comes up and have to refresh. I know they have been doing a lot of work on the site. Oh well Odie:cool:

oh yeah and another thing, what is with this SPAM?!!!! this is one of the reasons i like this site so well! NO SPAM!!! what happened? needed it to fund for the server?

Yup it works,and yes it's free,you download the program and get it up and running,and you wont get those annoying re-directs to other webpages,etc etc. otherwise known as spam.

thanks i checked it out, but i never had a pc till now to play on, just one at work, so i will let odie,gtlee , check it out because i know nothing, except how to race & post - ho ing, hahaha, thank's. :D :)

1] We had the servers go down the other day for the afternoon, as the power went out and our UPS backups failed.

2] Everything, as far as I can tell, is functioning normally right now.

3] I have seen the white screen in the forums with a message about not being able to connect to the database, but only once in a blue moon. I believe it to be a firewall issue on our end, which I haven't been able to track down yet. It only seems to be very infrequent to me though and after clicking refresh it usually goes right through. I am working on it.

4] Yes, there are some pop-"under" ads being served right now, but I am about to kill those from being able to show up.

Finally, I am here and alive. However, I have not been around on the forums much lately. I was working a lot, and now I've been out of town for about a week and a half. I'm sort of "on vacation" for a couple weeks lets just say.

In the near future (next couple weeks) I'm going to not only be giving MW a lot of needed attention, but I'm also looking a possible total site redesign SOON.

FYI, as of 11pm PST, 7/4/02, I'm getting that white page on average every 6th time I submit something. I've been here on and off all day, and while the traffic has been unusually low, that page is coming up more than I've seen it before. All day.

I just got the error message a few min. ago. It's always corrected by hitting the refresh button...it really doesn't bother me that much.
