The word is good, again.
They took Adriauna off morphine, and they have her on tylenol right now. She's still on IV antibiotics, but the doctors are considering allowing her off the IV and onto oral antibiotics in the next day or so. If they let her take oral antibiotics, she'll be out tomorrow, instead of Friday.
She's beginning to perk up now that the morphine is out of her system. This time around has been a lot more draining. Her white blood cell count is dropping, and they've said that's good. The doctors are unsure what caused the infection because their culture isn't growing much
Don't ask me how that's possible. I've never seen an infected culture not grow.
Anyway, looks like she's gonna be out by Friday at the latest. She'll be sore for a while though.
