![]() Well, Im probably closest to you smokedchev. Gotta see that car sometime.
Im 19, 20 next month. I recently started my own computer company with a friend of mine about 3 months ago. But I was presented with an opportunity to make money off utilities right after gettin started with that. I took that also, and have been splitting my time between them since. I'm broke right now, as starting up business's don't make much money. I bought most everything for the stang on credit, as I I saved money. If anyone else is interested in making money off utilities I could show it to you. I was introduced by a guy I knew from highschool who started 6.5months ago, and pulled $16,000 last month! No BS (I saw his check!) He still won't race me with his new M3 though... hehe... ![]() I turned 25 on march 2nd. I am the yard superintendent of the western falcon Odessa plant.
We put polyethelene liners in oil field tubing and are growing rapidly when I started here 4 years ago we had just the Odessa plant but now we have plants in Canada, Venezuela, Costa Rica and Argentina. Its funny how if you show up every day and show up on time and pass the random drug test how quickly you can move up in a company. I got into mutangs late last year my stang is just a hobby car it never sees street duty yet. I also have a 00' GMC truck wich I absolutely love and a Honda CRX that I bought for my girlfriend. I make alot of money but it seems like I am always broke cause of all of my bills. I could easily of had an 11 sec stang if I would of been into stangs instead of car audio last year. I had a 4300.00 stereo system in my 98 GMC truck I got rid of last year. Right now all of my money is going into the stang it was a pos when I bought it paid 1500.00 for it last November and since have put about another 2000.00 into it. My goal is to have a high 12 sec. car by the end of the racing season in November. ------------------ 88 mustang gt convertible bored to 306 BBk equal length headers mac cold air fender kit cowl hood nitto drag radials ford racing clutch flow masters h-pipe 160* thermostat 16 degrees of timing electric fan off 94' t-bird jacobs electronics cap and wires. ![]() I'll be 19 in july. I'm currently(and for the next 6 years) employed by the United States Army. Trying to save money right now for the next string of mods to finish off my project. Making it one bad *** 'stang. But that's a few months down the line. Should handle like a dream and run in the 11's when the bottle's open.

![]() I'm 38 and work as an MRI Tech. It was good to see all the 30 yr olds and a couple of 40's (Snakeman, Cajun).
Sometimes I feel I'm getting to old for my car, but it has been my baby for 10 years, I refuse to get rid of it. In fact I'm the only one with a car like this at my church. I just had 2 chambers put on, and when I was heading out of the parking lot at the end, everybody turned around and looked at me like, "what is with him and his car, he should be driving a Volvo or Honda......etc," but I just gave them a big smile and waved at everybody. ![]() I'm 20 years old and work full time for a local contractor. We do everything from landscaping to cement work to carpentry. College wasn't what I wanted to do so I stopped after freshman year. Now I work full time. I guess it's alright becasue I get to work outside in the beautiful summertime weather. All I need is my car. Then I can really enjoy the summer...

![]() I am 29 years old and I tint windows for a living but I have a technical degree in networking but cannot find a job because the job market in Jacksonville fl sucks and nobody wants to hire a tech with out a lot of experience.
I can sympathize with 5.0 HO, I spent about 12,000 on the stereo in my last car and if I only had spent all that money on my mustang she would be real fast. Being a window tinter here pays really good but it is seasonal. The going rate for a window tinter is 33% of the total, so if the tint job is $150 I make $50 per car and I can tint about 8 cars a day but average about 5 to 6. I have a lot of bills so I have to save like everyone else and get it one part at a time and it has taken me over a year to get where I am now. On the way is a 347 probe stroker kit, 3 to 4 more weeks and she will be alive again. ------------------ James Cox nochevy@hotmail.com 1991 Mustang LX 12.565 @109.38mph 1.764 60ft |

![]() I just turned 24 a couple of weeks ago. I work for Fed Ex Ground, I'm Outbound Cooridinator (well its changed title to Srvc Manager) I'm incharge of about 15 employees, and the loading docks. Its middle managament. Been working there for 5 years.
I have an Advertising design/Fine Arts degree from Fayetteville tech community college, and a Degreee in Automotive technologies. I also took a year in criminal justice, and a few physics classes. I have been schooling myself in Physics for about a year now. Plan on going to get a 4 year degree in Physics, or a 4 year degree so I can teach. Either Art, or Physics. Possibly might be going into Automotive carrer, with the degree. Thinking of Crown Ford here in Fayetteville. ![]() God I felt old till I saw Cajun's reply. I'm a very ripe 46 and just now got a Mustang for me to work on. Both sons have Mustangs, 71, 82 GT with a 351-C/C-6, and an 89 GT with a fresh 306. Mine is a 79 coupe with no engine yet but I cabbaged onto a 72 351-C (two barrel)/C-4 combo that is coming apart as I write this. Gonna build a roller motor out of the cleveland. Oh. . .I used to be on here as medik418 but lost out to time I guess, I am an Emergency Response Specialist for Phillips Petroleum. (Fire/haz-mat, paramedic) I am also a volunteer firefighter and paramedic here in town.

![]() I'm 21 and I work at Bank of America as a Network Technician. Plus I have a web design business on the side which has proven to be very lucritive. I usually build sites for companies that sell parts that could go on my Mustang, so we barter.... a webpage for parts.

I got into mustangs when I turn 17 and bought my 91 GT, since then I have sold it for my 92GT Convert. I plan on adding a blower a year or two down the road. Depends on if I get jetski's next year. ![]() This is a good topic, very interesting.
Here's me: 20 years old, work as an "apprentice technician" (in other words i do the work no one else wants to do, and i clean up other people's messes) at a local Ford dealership. I go to school at Renton Technical College, just recently enrolled in the Ford ASSET program from another auto program where Firestone had enrolled me before i realized how crappy that place was. This is my 2nd fox stang, 3rd fox body (had a zephyr) and my first 5.0L. i make $10 an hour (starting wage) and will continue to live at home until i'm out of school or decide i've had enough, but right now most of my money goes towards getting my mustang running right, many odd problems, and getting the chassis set up for later go fast stuff. ------------------ '84 Mustang 5.0 LX My car |

![]() I am 25, and I am a SGT. (E5) in the United States Marine Corps about to pick up E6. I currently work for a branch that tests amphibious assult vehicles. (In Del Mar on Camp Pendleton, I see at least 10-15 stangs a day during a 7 minute drive to work. There has got to be someone on here who see's the same cars.) Including the advanced amphibious assult vehicle if anyone knows what that is. I have a little over a year left then I think I'm going to call it quits. I will be moving to the Dallas/FTW area and try to get on working with one of the juvenile boot camps in the area. My wife makes enough money so I don't see the real need to find a that I would'nt be happy with just for the pay check. Besides helping out young kids going down the wrong road is really what I want to do.
I bought my stang about a year this sept. I have always wanted one (fox body) since I saw this dude's 89 GT back in HS. It was a bad MF. [This message has been edited by JM90GT (edited 06-25-2001).] |
