Thumbs down Bad news from New Hampshire Dragway....

Well that is, bad news at least for me and my car. I'll make a long story short, however, John Mihovetz tuned my car as we rented the track on Wednesday before the race. We ran out of time to completely tune the car. It was still running extremely rich and stalling out. At the end of the rental time, my trany fluid all leaked out.

So Friday someone checked the tranny and there was a few things wrong. One was the transbrake and something else. They pretty much fixed it and we still had one small leak but i decided to attempt to drive it anyways.

Did a burnout for the 1st qualifying run at New Hampshire and my car went up in smoke and they made me turn it off. The gasket blew on my C4 tranny. So i was done for and never really got to run the car and get into the boost.

So its back to the drawing board to get the tranny repaired and im taking the electromotive computer system off and installing the speedpro.

I wont be back out until March 2002 now. At least i have all this time to get it corrected. Well just wanted to keep everyone abreast of my mishaps. haha
