Battery
My battery seems to be past its prime. What's a good replacement brand?

I think most of them are made by the same companys, just with different labels on them. I would just go to wal-mart or K-mart and get one, this way, you can get a replacement under warrenty almost anywhere you are at. Sears batteries are overpriced, avoid them. I have also had a few people recommend "Interstate" brand, if you can find one.
The best is the Gel battery if you want to spend some dollars, cant think of the name right now, but they are around $150.00 ------------------ 1993 GT/AOD '93 Mustang GT |

Bought a Motorcraft battery at the local K-Mart in September for $49.00. Good price and original looks (if that matters) The Motorcraft I replaced lasted just over 5 years.

Optima, Optima, Optima...I'll definitely vote for Optima battery as well!!! I let my race car sit just about all winter long, occassionally I'll fire it up, but that Optima just start her up with no problems. First time everytime. Last race season I accidently left my electric fan on and it drained the battery big time. I charged it for a little while and I'm still running the same one. Now I have one in my tow rig, my driver and the wife's car.
