BEST TIRE SHINE
Question I will be showing my stang this weekend at car show. What can I use to get the best shine besides armoral or black magic?

Hey!!
I've used tons of stuff, my VERY FAVORITE is Endurance, by Meguiar's..There are two different ones. The first one I used was an opaque purple, creamy. I found that it was hard to spread and got globbed in the treads. Harder to clean off too. The one I use now religiously is the clear, purple gel. It spreads thin, doesn't glob like the other one, and cleans up easy. I always use a tire sponge. It makes the application easy. Usually i'll squirt some on the sponge and distribute it evenly on the sponge w/ my finger, before actually wiping it on. When I show I always do the whole tire, not just the outside. It shows MUCH BETTER! The more coats you put on the more shine you get. I like it shiny!! Just be careful when yu leave. Dont do any burnouts...you'll be going sideways!!!! Let me know how you like it!!! Topless ------------------ 1994 GT.Convertible/Performance Red. Cold Air Ind.,K&N,H.P. Pulleys,OffRoad H-Pipe,Flows,3.55,Light bar,Custom HeadRests.Lotta Chrome |

Your very welcome!!! I dont have a link yet posted to my car, but if you'd like to see it, its still posted on the Female Power Forum as the July Mare. (only till 347 boots me into the Archives!!!!) We will be in Beaumont this weekend w/ 347 and Crewzin doing a show, and to stay! Good luck this weekend and let me know how you do and how you like the endurance. Remember, its the gel, not the creamy liquid!

ya, be very careful after you use that stuff especially if you put it on the tread. don't do anything remotely crazy until its COMPLETELY off the tread, and also think about the rotors too. i washed my car one day and, per-usual, armoralled the tires. got in an hour later to go somewhere, got to the end of my street, hit the brake pedal, not much happend. just kept pressing, and it got me stopped, but i didn't nearly have the braking power i used to. i sat there right in the middle of the road (too afraid to go anywhere!), saying "what the ****** is up?!", and then i finally figured it out, i had gotten armoral on the brake disc! crazy stuff. be careful of that, i just had to run the brakes a little bit to clean em off.

Well I purchased a bottle of endurance. That stuff works wonders I could not wait until the car show had to try it out right away. I am hooked on it no more armorall. I even used it on my other vehicles. Thanks I will let you know how the car show went.

HEHEHEHE!!! (I love this stuff!)
I made a post to MOM2k months ago, when she started showing...its EXTEMELEY LONG!!! But, It was loaded w/ info, and VERY DETAILED. coming from a show-ers point of view when I show and a judges point of view when I judge. I could email it to you, but if I post it this way...maybe it could help someone else too. Go to the Female Power Forum (Girls Can Too). You have to look back into the last 120 or so days. In a post, posted by Mustangmom2k on May 22, "Showing Cars, how to?" I left her an EXTREMELY LONG POST! If this is really your first show, I think it will just put you that much ahead. I knew ABSOLUTELY NOTHING at my first show. You dont really realize what can be done till you've got into it. It's endless!!! Let me know if you find it, and I would print it out. Just good guidelines. And if you have any questions, I'll be more than happy to answer them!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!! BTW...Dinomite has a point..I've been sideways more than my fair share...PLEASE BE CAREFUL till you burn all that sh** off of your tires!!!!! You can also wipe down Your wheel wells with it and your bra if you have one on your car. But do that sparingly!! Dont forget to scrub your wheel wells and the INSIDE of your wheels too!!!!

If you can e-mail that info to me it will be to my advantage. I am hoping there are not too many 93 cobra's there. Pretty rare out here.

I like Turtle Wax's Tire Gel. Two coats of that stuff, and you can literally see yourself in it! I love that stuff. It usually lasts about 2 weeks on everyday driving. Make sure it drys before you drive the car or it will streak.
