Isn't it a shame when people have no courtesy in the roads. I'll bet she was on a cell phone too.

wellcome to the world of normal driving....sad but true

i live in an area wheres theres lots of yuppies in suv's.they do **** like that all the time .....just think what its like for motercyclists....any more i don't even get that p1ssed...theres just alot of peaple on the roads who don't know how to drive or just don't care how they drive...all you can do is pay attention and always keep an eye out for peaple who look like they can't drive.....after a while you learn to recognize crappy drivers and you learn to expect them to do stipid stuff...good thing to watch for is when you see another person getting ready to pull out watch them....if they start creeping forward or if they aren't looking at you ,be ready to stop for them

well it's a good thing your brakes work well

302BlownPony:

Scary story but unfortunately, all too typical today, as 'old guy' mentioned.

Here's a hint for watching cars that may pull out of side streets or wherever;
I always watch the front tire/wheel - it will move before you see the car move and if it does, blow the horn and be ready to brake.

Glad you were able to stop; hopwe you didn't flat-spot the tires, but at least no crash.
