It shouldn't be too hard. There are some companies out there that offer motor mounts for such a project. I'm not sure if they do it or not, but try http://www.dssracing.com . I know that they offer 385 series engines. But that's all I know. Also, the v-8 crossmember should work for the swap. I'm not 100 percent on that, but it seems like that's what I remember reading in MM&FF. Oh well, I hope that this helps some.

There is a thread in Windsor power with some links to pages that talk about doing this. Check it out:

small block swap
my buddy has a 1982 mustang with a 460 in it and it has a 4 cylinder suspension on it.
instead of motor mount he has a set of motor plates on the front

I had a 429 I was gonna put in my 87 stang but i never ended up doin it, u need the headers, oil pan, crossmember, and motor mounts, there is a kit thats availble for $850 or so, it wasnt feasable for me to do it, i'd gain power thats for sure but gas mileage for a daily driver would suck hehe
