Sky What's Up,

I haven't talked to you in awhile, been busy. Sorry, to hear about your buddy's engine. I was just letting you know I received a flyer from my friend, it states that the Oxnard police dept and Vc sheriffs dept are trying to locate a spot for cruising and drag racing. They are holding a meeting on Wednesday Feb 5th @ 6pm at the boys and girls club on 5th street in Oxnard. Sorry I don't have an address. Let your friends know. They're thinking possibly using Camarillo airport as the drag strip. How coll would that be? Anyways, hope you can make it. Spread the word!!

Later,

Ed

On the "Suckdom" scale this is about a 8.6:o

Hethj7 02-03-2003 04:27 PM

Ouch! Were you hot rodding it a little, or was it just its time to go?

fiveohpatrol 02-03-2003 07:48 PM

What exactly "blew" in the motor. I'm guessing its beyond repair?

I know how it is to blow other friends stuff. It happend to me with a friends '64 mustang, his rear went out, but it was something wrong before I got it, it wheel hopped with just letting the clutch out.

I have a whole '89 Gt 302 with 70,000 miles. No pullies, but i do have the alt, and smog pump, plus comp and wires. Ran perfect, $600

If you need skyler, you could also get a newer than '86 engine to put in there (although he'd need another inspection).
Sorry to hear your misfortune, it seems like everyone is blowing up engines lately.
