Post Bought another one today

I now have four Mustangs in my yard/driveway. THe youngest one's 82 GT is yearning for some serious body work after his boss backed into it and then his girlfreind did the same to the other side. Add to this a second fragged 7.5 " rearend and we decided it was time to retire the poor thing. I found a 79 coupe that was devoid of engine/tranny but with a good 8.8 bolted to it. All for a hundred bucks and it even has a title. I'm planning to undo all the stupid things I did with the last 351-C install in the 82. I have a second cleveland ( a two barrel)/C-4 that will find a home in this one. I figure it will take most of the summer to put on the road and someday I'll be able to afford paint but this one's gonna be fun. Plans are (for now) 351-C with 2 bbl heads, ( freshened up of course) C-4 with 2400 stall convertor, 3:08's. (the 82 has a C-6 with 3:55's and you almost have to trailer it to the gas pumps . . . forget highway driving) Peak rpm's will be around 6500 with this one. (we kept the old 4-bbl limited to 5800) Not sure if the boy will get this one, he's inherited our old Explorer for now. Did I mention his 97mph in a 70 ticket? The sad part is he got nailed in his mom's Saturn. Anyway, here's to lossa work and the fun it brings

Must be nice. I'm having trouble finding time to work on one car let alone 4. Good luck.

Lemme clarify that. . . one is sitting on blocks, his high school car with no drivetrain, the 82 is soon to be scrapmetal and I am finishing up the 89 today. The only thing left is the 79 now
