Sounds sweet.

No specific info on the Sony Vaio computer series but frankly, when these computer questions come up here I've noticed most people swear that whatever they have is the best and usually say that everything else sucks. Human nature at work.

I would guess that all computers (using many of the same internals) are similar but each brand will have quirks or some weak points, somewhere.

Generally, Sony is a respected name in electronics and your new computer is probably a good one, but again, nothing is perfect in every way so expect a glitch here and there, but otherwise, just enjoy it.
