Default Bought a truck Today.

Hey peoples. I am on cloud nine right know. I wasnt really looking. I was waitin till I got a little more money saved up but I found what I wanted so I bought it. I gotta go get insurance Monday morning and pick up from being cleaned up. I am so happy right know. So anyway about the truck. It's a 1996 Ford (of'course) F-150. Two tone black and silver with Black on top and on the rockers. Silver in between. Regular cab Short bed. Xlt trim, Captains chairs with power lumbar. Gray interior. Power everything. Real nice truck but High mileage. Its got 104,xxx miles on iut but it was a lease truck and has a good service record. Its real nice and exactly what I was looking for. The only thing is doesnt have that I wanted is a sliding back glass but im gonna put on in it. I have some pics Tuesday. I pick it up monday but have class and wont be able to get pics until tuesday. Just wanted to share the joy. I got a 4 banger notch for sale now if anyone is interested.

I picked it up this morning. I'll take some pics tommorrow morning in the light. It'll be dark when I get home tonight. I love it so far.

Belle. I will take 2400 for the notch. Its a 4 banger auto. Good shape but it was wrecked before I bought it. Air bags dont work I assume. I have to put a new modulator valve on the tranny but thats no biggie. It would make a great project car HINT, HINT!!!!

whoa! I must admit that's a bit more than I expected (Edmund's set the value at $1600 trade in $2000 private party assuming 12k/year) and I can't justify driving to KY for that, but thanks for the response! I'm sure you'll sell her pretty quick with those nice ponys

Very nice! You have options that most F-150's don't. In fact, the only trucks I've ever seen that front bumper on are the Eddie Bauer F-150's (like mine). You also got the killer seats. I mounted my two amps under the middle seat. It was alot of work, but there is no way possible, other than stealing the whole truck, that anyone will ever steal them! That is a few miles, though. My '95 just turned 65k yesterday. As long as it was well maintained, though (and it looks like it was), you'll be fine.

Cool!

Take care,
-Chris

I only have one amp to mount under the seat. I have three JL Audio tens I have to figure out wherer to put though. Thats gonna be the challenge. ILike the truck so far. I gotta do some small things to "Personalize" it butI'm not doing much.

Hehe, that's what I said too. This is it now: My F-150

Those pics weren't taken for show, which is why it's so dirty.

Take care,
-Chris

Cool I like it. Come to think of it a F-150 with a 351 would be a lot better than my LX
