I must have missed that poll, I didn't realize someone had already done this. I haven't been around much lately.
It seems to me that most of the people bitchin about the post count haven't read or chose to read what the people who want the post count have posted. They all seem to think people want the post count so they can brag or pretend to be knowledgable about Mustangs. To my knowledge, No one has ever said that. If you think someone knows about Mustangs because they have a lot of posts it is your fault, not the post count.
I thought the post count was fun and a little helpful sometimes in remembering people like Pkrwud said. No one has been crying or even been upset about it, at least on this thread. People who have wanted it have said it'd be fun but it's no skin off my back if its gone.
The people who have made this a hostile subject have been the ones who don't want the post count. Some seem to think calling people babies and post whores is a better way to make their point than actually coming up with a well thought reason.
It seems to me this board has become a lot more serious and less fun recentley. People need to relax and be happy.
I feel like mr. 5.0 with the long post, but thats how I feel.
