Question Building up of a Ford Ranger??

Well a while ago i had the thought of building up a 80's Ford Ranger. I would pick a 302 engine for the transplant and a 9" rear end, and 410-456 gears. And to keep the Power planted to the ground a set Of ET STREETS.

I was wondering how that would work or if it was a waste of money and time

I appreciate your help.

Nik
