Cheap twin turbo kit
 

I was talking to a friend of mine and we were discussing coming up with custom turbo kits for different cars. If you could get a relatively cheap kit would their be an interest? There would be kits for the 5.0 and for the 4.6 SOHC motors.

If i could get a good price on mine..i'd convert my motor over to a Turbo. Hell all the pro 5.0 boys are using turbo's. Make me a 101mm and i'll talk to ya :)

If it is cheap enough then i would buy one. I would rather buy a turbo kit then a nitrous kit.

what have you got for a 4.6 sohc gt, let me know , i may have to sell the house, but i can sleep in my car, j/k, i could sell some land though, i have 5 acres but only use 1, the rest i leave to wildlife, oh yeah that's where odie send's me, lol,cya.:D :D :eek:

Ok, let me give a little more info....with both kits we are looking at a target price of 3500 bucks for a kit that will give between 350 and 400whp. We are doing testing right now to make sure that everything is working right and that it will be reliable. It is going to be a true twin set-up for now and we have no plans of using a single at this time.

Carbureted 302's?
 

Any plans for carbureted 302's? And what kind of boost #'s and when does it come in?

Sorry Rev, this is for fuel injected cars.....boost is going to be 7-9 psi

3500 american for a set-up,wow it will be a long time in hell before i can afford that,i would have to save up like 6g's dammmmmmm

maybe when I have about 4g's. you will have one for carb. 302's...maybe..hopefully..wishfull thinking maybe.

Hey Rev.. look at ATI Procharger.. I know I know.. thats a blower company.. but they sell carbs set up for blowthrough boost and also a bonnet that you could use to hook up a twin turbo set like PKRWUD pictured. Just have to do a little custom pipe work

Sounds pretty good, but I don't have the money and you don't make them for my car so it all works out.

Twin Turbo

Here's a pic I took of a 5.0L that was twin turbo'd. It was real nice.... I can't remember what times it was running but it was quick.

As of right now, the mass production of kits are on hold because of a lack of interest...i'll keep you guys posted.

Hey PKRWUD. .what you got there exactly. .What is that off of, or where can i get me some of those.. I think I can build my own kit later on if I want to... Just gotta be carbed for know

Next combo is gonna be a EFI 393 so a turbo kit for that might be cool to Hint Hint guys.
