				 | AOD to T5 swap ?'s Hey guys, I'm new to the site, and I have the chance to buy a 91 GT for cheap money but its an AOD and I know that those model years were a lot slower with the AOD than the 5speed. Plus I love rowing through the gears in a pony car. So what I want to know is what is involved and is it extremelly expensive to do. I'm thinking a new tranny, flywheel and complete clutch will be needed. But what about the computer? Anyone ever done this that can help me out? Thanks in advance and great site you guys got here. |

				 | You will need pedal assembly, flywheel, clutch & cable, starter index plate, and wiring harness for the neutral saftey switch/ back up lights. The computer will work, and you don't have to swap but can if wanted. And there might be a few little thing I am forgetting to add to the parts list...Also will need to move the speedo cable over to another whole in the firewall, and run the clutch cable through the whole the speedo cable was in.
