Haha, I was just at Honda Tech reading that story. That board has gotten very boring to go to. They are arguing about a 98' Supercharged Stang' beating a Grand National.

Yeah, surprised me too that he was a moderator. What kind of mixed up system do they have over at that msg board???

That's just not even funny. I felt obligated to make some posts of my own. That's just sick...an Integra beating a Porsche TT? Is he out of his f'ing mind?

The whole post had me laughing my butt off. Still though I'll stick up for Honda's engineering talent. They have developed some of the highest HP/Litre naturally aspirated stuff out there. So they can make a good engine, however giving this geek the benefit of doubt, what was he probably making? My ever so optimistic sim dyno when plugged in with an 8:1 1.9l turbo-charged motor using an intercooler that is 90% efficient, feeding through what is equivalent to a 75mm t-body, fully race prepped heads, A solid roller cam akin to maybe an E303 with .500 lift makes in the neighborhood of 400 hp at 11,000 rpm and more like 290 at 320 at 9000 rpm. Okay all funneled through a set of low-profile tires and a stock tranny? Hmmmm, kickass FWD technology (yeah rite)

I like the part about losing 2000 pounds

"***** I don't need to cause I have 400 foot pounds of torque and weigh a measely 3000 pounds. Compared to your 100 foot pounds of torque and 1900 pounds of burnt rice!"

LOL!!!! That is one good story. There is no way that story happened. I could list almost everything wrong with that post, but that would take too damn long with the amount of BS in that post. It is, however, possible to build a Integra GSR to beat a 911. I know that you guys probably don't believe it's possible, but if you don't, you are living in a fantasy world. I don't know how many times I see people say "there is no way a Honda could come close to car x." If it isn't possible to mod a Honda to beat a 911, then it isn't possible for a Mustang either. One of the few things that was said by GSRwBOOST that was close to accurate was "THERE'S NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT... ACTUALLY THERE IS, AND IT'S CALLED MONEY!"

Your right, it is possible to make just about any car beat a 911 TT, just how much will it cost? On a mustang it would be a big investment, but on a civic, you would have to sell your house.

Hi,
What the hell is an SVT Cobra and an '84 GT350 doing on that board (who knows, maybe there are more stangers)?

And it doesn't look like these guys just signed up to talk crap about imports; the SVT has nearly 500 posts!

Bye!

Thumbs down

There are about 5-6 Mustangers on there. Maybe more. I can name some of them: Importgravedigger (me) GM Killer, Smoke, A Saleen guy, and that SVT Cobra. I believe GM Killer and Smoke are members here. I joined 4 months or something like that ago to flame. Now, I get board and post there.

A story is a story.....

I don't know about the rest of you, but, when I drive at high speeds, as he claims, there is no way I'm going to go rummaging through the car to find things to throw.

The only place he has been that fast is in an airplane.
