It took 22 years of dreaming, and 13 years of marriage to get one.

It's a long story but, I think she got tired of me saying "Cobra" all the time. Yes, even in bed,,,,,,Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, COBRA!!, uh, I mean, nevermind. Honey, what do you want to eat tonight, did you say Cobra? And so on. Or I would break into the middle of a conversation and say"did somebody say Cobra?" 13 YEARS OF THAT!

Well she wasn't really into it until we cruised Gatlinburg one day. People were lined on the sidewalks pointing and waving, lol. I felt like "Billy Jack" Also compares to riding Santa Claus on the Fire Truck. The attention is unreal this car attracts.

Women waving didn't impress her much, in fact it invoked a response. "Your not allowed to drive this alone!!" HAHAHAHAHAHA. She mentioned that she liked it several times on that first trip. Thats the first time shes EVER liked something Ive dragged home on a trailer.

I did have it down in Birmingham earlier this month, but thats all.

"AC97GT" This particular car is a Factory Five Roadster. Factory Five . Com It is a replica of a 1965 427 S/C Cobra, Shelby Cobra. They come in unasembled form, from Factory Five Racing. Some other replicar companies sell turnkey, and pre assembled stages of cars. Mine was built in 1999 and is registered as a 1999 Cobra. Body is glass.

My car has a 91 5.0 EFI Mustang Motor. Tremmec 5 speed, 3.55 gears. Rear disc brakes, 275/40 ZR17 Tires on 17inch Cobra "R" wheels. It weighs >2200LBS< hehehe. It has no heater/Air/radio. Don't really want it. It runs 12's all day.

Basically a go-kart with a V8 on it. "Who needs Viagra, I have a Cobra!"

Factory Five is in Mass, go up and visit them.

That thing is sweet! Just wondering, how long did it take you to assemble the entire thing?

Put a blower on it. You can get a new S-trim from Summit for $2200 with the rebate and 10% discount code (which I can give you if you need it)
