Exclamation ... confession...

...... i used to think that i bled ford blue... but, nowa days.. i dunno.. ive owned no less than 8 Tang's , including my current 79 5.0 original.... but, alas, i hath faltered.. i bought a new 6 car garage a couple of years ago, that happened to come with a house, ( twas the only way to keep peace with the wifey) and now the Mustang shares space and air with a *gulp* 85 iroc z, and an 81 Monte Carlo.. ( both chevy's were purchased s an investment , for under $5000 total) I live in a chevy oriented area here, and have never followed the rank & file, but, am now considered "acceptable" now.. *btw.. im a service tech for a Pont. Olds.dealership* how do i purge these deamons????

I am also a ford blue bleeder but I also will admit there are some decent chevy's out there. It sounds like you got a good deal for the two cars but I would not consider either one of those cars a good investment. Those are disposable GM cars and you would keep some respect if you sold them and bought a 68-70 chevelle, pontiac GTO or olds 442. Only then will the Demons leave!

don't worry. GM is ford's competition for a reason: they have and will make good cars and trucks that compete with ford. but i have to agree, a 68-70 chevelle would go along way towards salvation. i've almost decided to get one myself. that 81 monte a computerized carb? if it is then throw it away and start over.
