Yup, good discussion guys. Too bad I didn't see this thread a few days ago, but I didn't think there were many college football fans on this site.

Here's something to think about. Every year since 1994 either the Yankees have won the World Series or the Cornhuskers have gotten a part of the Championship............ who was it that won the World Series this year?;)

Roll Red, Roll Red.

And about the 97 Wolverines......... you are an absolute idiot if you don't realize that Scott Frost and Ahman Green would've ran all over their sorry @sses. Michigan is the lucky one here. The BCS (which is not much better than the old system) was a year too late. Could you imagine a Michigan vs Nebraska title game with both teams undefeated?

I don't think they would have ran all over their "sorry a$$es". But that is part of the problem, because we will never know without a true playoff determining the winner.

Nebraska was lucky as hell they didn't lose to Missourri that season. Real Lucky. But how soon people forget.

I'll take a great Defense (97' Michigan) over a great Offense (97' Nebraska) anyday. But as we've already said we can "if" and "but" this thing to death, but it needs to be decided on the field.

Michigan vs Nebraska would've been sweet in 97....... too bad.

We did squeek that one out against Missouri. How could anyone forget that game? Matt Davidson, a Nebraska legend.:D

Matt Davison holds about every Nebraska high school football receiving record too....what a stud muffin...hehe....
