what is the price i should expect to pay for a Z? from what i understand they are all straight 6's. is there a perticular year or model i should look for?

about the bike... i was thinking about riding the Triumph Datona 955i that is in my garage... but it only gets ~30 mpg. i am sure i can squeeze ~35 out of a stright 6.
Think again my friend. I've had a 240z and my bro's 280z. Neither one saw the high side of 25 mpg, all freeway. If you want a z, you want one with a 5 speed. This puts you into a rare factor 78, or a car with a replaced trans, or a 280zx or newer. Any of the zx cars are without the 'old school cool' that everyone loved about the 240, 260 and 280z.

If you want something just to drive thats cheap, don't get one. Also, before This is not Cbring comes back with some other beotchy thing to say, all the pre-300 cars were straight 6's, all 300's were v-6's.

Expect to pay more than 4 for a good driver. That's what I sold my car for and it was a piece. If you really want one, I can email you things to look for.

I say Sentra over Z any day.
