did someone put a sneaky pete bottle in my car?
it sure felt like it today.
Here it is the second day of spring and we've had flurries all day long. And windchill felt like it was close to zero. anyway, I've never been so suprised at how fast my car felt today. I went to head to my first class at about noon and it felt like i had a 50shot in there. Normally, I can't give it full throttle in first gear without the tires shredding off, but today it was like that all through 2nd gear and part of 3rd. Maybe I should give it a little juice for when its not so cold out :D |
Yeh, I never really understood the logic of cars doing that. I know if it's colder they run better and elevation and all that stuff but sometimes you know it just feels alot faster. But hell who's to complain. =) Enjoy it while it lasts.

Cold air does wonders for power. Especially when you just jump in and go (with the engine cold)! Not to mention the effect cold air has on tires and pavement.
Take care, -Chris |
At least your car felt faster! I got out of work this morning and my car wouldn't start, I guess it was just too cold. Almost 0 degrees with the wind chill, burrrrr!!!

hehe my car won't start either...maybe i should put the wiring harness back in, that might help?

Cold Air is more Dense, More Oxygen.
More Oxygen is More power! I love it! I gauged it on my *** and 29 degree weather feels like a 80 shot in 85degree weather. Skyler |
It's cold here too!(WI). I could tell a difference cruising in my SHO. Pulled up next to a Neon at stop lights. Thought for sure he was going to try and race me, lights turned, and I gave her. He wasnt racing, but it felt like there was a lot more pull than usual with the cold weather. Need some warm weather and a stang though!! =0) I cant wait for summer!!!
