For some reason, people who drive slow cars always talk about cornering?

All the import guys think that are cars turn like trucks. Maybe I have a freak or something, but I've run my GT through the twisties faster than I did my brothers 99 Cougar v6. Yeah, the Mondeo based car that handles sweet.

Anybody else notice this phenomena? I get this a lot, "Well, you might beat me in a straight line, but I'll pass you when we have to turn."

BS in my book. My car has is stock with 16" rims, but it does have a strut brace. Maybe that explans the handling.

i think my stang handles just fine, i've seen car that are supposed to handle better have more body roll than my car..... it might be that i actually try and tune the suspension so it handles better and not just say it like some people (not talking about any one here though, just some people i know in my home town).

Funny thing you mention that, my dad used to have I believe it was a '90 5.0 GT 'Cobra', it's not a SVT Cobra, I believe Canada just had those Cobra's. Anyway back to the story, he sold it to a guy who now races it in slolam racing and he's set a track record and won alot of competitions. I want to try to get a picture of this bad boy. I sure do miss that car. :(

the only cars (aside from those CRAZY handling beasts we call minis) that ive seen handle better than mine (that traction control kicks arse) is my brothers 02SS...now that is a "full size" sports car that hugs the road like mad...

My car handles really bad.....:rolleyes: :D

Yes you are correct ,BUT . suspension wise ( there was not a change in the current build) only saleen ,at that time was moding the 5.0 .. aka Racecraft . But i bet it was nice ;)
