My friend had a turbo shadow....might beat a 2.3L, but sure as hell not a 5.0L. There were some Shelby turbo Chryslers in the mid 80's that were fairly OK, but would still not beat a 5.0L. I don't have any NUMBERS to back this up, but it's one more opinion on your side.

Your freind is wrong. turbo shadows are pieces of junk, and very slow, just like the other turbo chryslers out there from that time frame.

The guy has a liking to the Turbo Shadow and suffers from "this is the fastest car I've ever driven, so it must be the fastest car of anyone I know syndrome"! That happens alot in my area! My brother had a V6 '93 Duster since brand new, and that didn't come close!

I guess this thread begs the question, "who the hell would bother to find out the 0-60 time of a Shadow?" I'm sure even chrysler doesn't have the numbers!

I've got a 1990 Shadow. It's my beater/winter car. Its suffers that fate for one huge reason. IT DOESN'T HAVE ANYWHERE NEAR THE POWER AS A MUSTANG!!! That way I'm safe in the winter time.
