![]() yes it is true I have read the article. But I don't think that ford builds them. It's some tuner company. Who cares about that, though, it's a drag pak!!

![]() It probably is a dealership offering this. Ford wouldn't take a liability risk that big.

![]() Sounds like EXACTLY how every Mustang GT should come from the factory.
My buddy is taking delivery of his '01 on Wednesday. Lizard King, he's the same guy who rolled his 'Notch duking it out with a WS6 a couple of weeks ago - he's looking forward to meeting you ![]() |

![]() I'm pretty sure the drag pak ford offered on the older mustangs was just something like a tachometer and a couple other pretty small things...how could you get confused with this?

![]() The drag pack ford offered on the older cars, like the 69-70 Mustangs was alot more than a Tach and small stuff.
The rear gear was usually kicked up to 4.10's or higher, there were also heavy duty Tranny and Oiler coolers, suspension pieces, traction bars, I believe also Sub Frames. There werent any engine mods in ways of performance, but the chassis and durability of the cars and engines were tweaked heavily (well considering the time period). Oh and they also added a tach. ![]() |

![]() I'm not at all impressed by the stage 2 car. I was at the NMRA race in Reynolds and it was running there. I'm sorry but for what it has (blower, auto, DR's) it should go much quicker than it did. The MPH is very low as well. I lined up against him in qualifying and had seen the blower in the pits. I figured this guy would walk by me. It never happened.
To be honest both of these are over priced in my opinion. I've added the price up for parts and I could build the same car for much cheaper. If you have to pay for the work it might still come in cheaper than paying their premium. Of course I may be a little baised since my car runs quicker than both Stage 1 and 2 with less work and much much cheaper price tag. ------------------ 00 GT, MAC Offroad H, Steeda Pulleys & Timing Adjuster, 4.10’s, Flows w/turndowns, UPR shifter, UPR Pro Series LCA’s, Lakewood 70/30’s & 50/50’s, Weld Pro Stars, Kaenen Cobra R Hood, 253.8 RWHP/292.8RWTQ 12.91@101.93 (1.74 60ft) M/M 100, 7085 Recent Pic from Moroso |
