I am taking my car to the track this coming Sunday for the first time in eight years and two separate engine combinations later. Traction may be an issue, but I am looking to also see where my mph is. Anyone have any tips? I know to get the car as light as I can, but that poses a question in its self. If I am having traction problems, should I leave a full tank of gas and the spare in the trunk? Or would it just be better to modify my launching technique to compensate for the traction?

I am hoping to have the traction issues worked about before I go. With that said, I have to run my tires for now (like new tread), Kumhos 711. What would be the ideal tire pressure for a street tire? Thanks, Ryan

			 Hey ryan,

I would suggest for your next set of tires BFG g-force t/a kdw or kdws 's for a second choice less aggressive. Those kumho do well on fwd but not that great on rwd. Tire pressure probably around 24-30 psi my guess. Check with tire rack best price.
